Class Description: Let’s get ready for fall decorating with this fun and easy patchwork table runner. Zina will walk you through strip piecing pumpkins, stitch and flip corners, plus she has included an optional pumpkin and crow block for extra cuteness. Scrap friendly project!

Pumpkin Hollow Table Runner Supply List:
Pumpkin Hollow pattern - pattern card or PDF download from Villa Rosa Designs at VillaRosaDesigns.com (*Please print your pattern at home before class if you purchase a download.)
2 fat quarters for large pumpkins
3 fat eighths for small pumpkins (or 5 - 2 ½” x WoF strips)
4 x 12” scrap green for stems (a mix of 5 scraps of green fabric measuring at least 3 x 3” may also be used)
5/8 yard background fabric
1/3 yard binding fabric
1-1/3 yards backing fabric for pieced backing
For optional pumpkin and crow block:
Fat eighth or 10” square of black fabric for body, tail, legs, and wings of crow
3 x 3” lighter black or dark gray fabric for crow head
Patchwork squares for pumpkin can be cut from leftover above pumpkin fabric
Other supplies: Machine and regular quilting supplies, such as a cutting mat, rotary cutter, rulers, thread, snips, seam ripper, personal iron and mat if desired, etc.
Optional: 5” Creative Grids Folded Corner Clipper or Antler Quilt Designs Simple Folded Corners Ruler
Also, this is a Stripology friendly project. The Stripology Squared CGRGE2 ruler will be helpful, but not necessary, for cutting your strips and squares

Please precut your fabrics per pattern instructions. I recommend that you cut your strips to 2-1/2” x 11” or longer for the strip-pieced pumpkins. We will trim them down to 10-1/2” after piecing.
Be sure to bring all your extra fabric and scraps!
