Class Description: Love to sew? Ready to try something new? Join Carrie for the ByAnnie Project Club, a monthly sewing adventure where you’ll create stylish, practical bags while learning techniques that give your projects a professional finish.
Whether you’re new to bag-making or an experienced sewist looking to sharpen your skills, each project will take you step-by-step from cutting to finishing. You’ll learn new techniques, discover clever construction tricks, and—best of all—go home with something you’ll actually use!
This is an ongoing monthly class held on the 4th Wednesday of each month, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM

December Project: Easy Does It Bag
The "Easy Does It" class teaches beginner-friendly bag-making techniques using a popular pattern by ByAnnie. Students learn how to install zippers, work with stabilizer foam like Soft and Stable, construct handles, and bind raw edges.
Finished size (approx.): 6" High x 9" Wide x 4¼" Deep

Sewing machine with Manual
Coordinating thread, Wonder Clips, marking pen, and standard sewing tools (pins, seam ripper, scissors, etc.) including a rotary cutter and ruler
Stiletto, Edge Stitch Foot, 2 ½ circle template, 28mm rotary cutter (optional, but helpful)

Pre-Class Preparation: Cut, quilt, seal edges, label pieces and prepare bias binding according to pattern directions.
